In defence of the "Sometimes I wonder why I didn't just go to college or TAFE instead.. Oh well." tweet, there is no way in hell that I'm saying college or TAFE is easier. Because it's not. I obviously have no right in making a judgement about the quality of teaching or standard of work, if I've never studied there. So I wouldn't.
Whenever I complain about uni, it's usually by the means of hating how many years I need to study my course. We all want an education and a career that will make us happy. Some will get there faster than others. That's what my tweet is reflecting on; the fact that I'm so mindlessly wasting my time thinking about other options (not to mention a shit load of complaining), instead of focusing on what I need to do to achieve in this competitive industry.
It's frustrating.
I apologise if the tweet came out wrongly. Again, it was not intended to judge educational institutions in anyway.
